My best guess is that when you lock the car it turns off the internal lights, so therefore the central locking and interior light circuits are probably linked - the central convenience unit. Hi all, I have recently purchased a Mk1 Octavia vRS its an 05 reg, The only known fault with the car is the drivers door does not open on the remote fob, you have to use the key and open/close it manually, every other door works fine on the remote ! any hints or tips would be great - I have noticed the door knob does not go flush with the trim when it is closed also and all of the others do.
